What should I do when the schedule conflicts with the drawings, order, or field?

Correct the full schedule, issue a new revision, and tell every downstream owner exactly what changed. A verbal correction is not enough when purchasing, receiving, drilling, and installation depend on the record.

  • Mark obsolete schedules so they cannot be mistaken for current.
  • Reconcile ordered and installed quantities against the revision.
  • Confirm receipt by the people whose work changes.
