How Do Returns and Exchanges Work?
Please keep your hardware and all packaging until you have inspected your order. Our Returns & Exchanges Policy explains the full requirements.
- Change of mind: Request an eligible return or exchange within 60 calendar days of delivery. Items must be unused, uninstalled and in their original packaging. Custom products, special-order finishes and final-sale items are excluded from change-of-mind returns. Return shipping is customer-paid unless eligible Redo free return shipping was purchased. A $3.50 restocking fee applies to approved refunds; for exchanges, it applies when a refund difference is issued.
- Shipping damage: Report damage to Inspire Hardware within 14 calendar days of delivery. Include photos of the product and all packaging, including the outer carton. Inspire covers standard return shipping for verified damage. Damage replacements are for the same item; custom items require standard production lead times.
- Manufacturing defects: Report a defect within 60 calendar days of delivery, with photos of the product and all packaging. Inspire covers standard return shipping for verified defects. Defective items are replaced with the same item; custom items require standard production lead times.
- Optional Redo coverage: If purchased at checkout, Redo covers eligible return shipping under the applicable coverage terms. Its purchase fee is non-refundable, and the applicable $3.50 restocking fee remains. Redo is not required for Inspire's standard return-shipping coverage for verified damage or defects. Package-protection claims depend on the coverage purchased and its terms.
Shipping damage or manufacturing defects may be reported before installation. If damage or a manufacturing defect is discovered during installation, only the affected piece may be returned for review; the rest of the order remains subject to the usual return conditions. Damage caused by installation is not a manufacturing defect or shipping-damage claim. The reporting deadlines, photo requirements and approval process still apply.

If Inspire Hardware sends the incorrect product, we will replace it with the correct item and cover shipping of the replacement to you. Please contact us for return instructions before sending anything back.

Choosing and installing Frond
How does Frond attach to my cabinetry?
Frond mounts from the back of the cabinet door or drawer and is supplied with two matching wood screws. Its mounting arrangement differs from a conventional pull with screws passing through the cabinet front. Ask your installer to check the mounting position on your actual cabinetry before drilling.
Will it fit my cabinet doors and drawers?
Check the space around the closed front, the clearance as it opens, and the room available for your fingers. The back height is 1 inch for Large and 0.75 inch for Small. This measures the mounting back, not how far the pull projects from the cabinet front. Confirm projection, finger space and opening clearance with a physical pull before fitting an inset or closely fitted front.
What screw length and cabinet thickness should I use?
Two matching wood screws are included with each pull. A confirmed screw length and minimum panel thickness are not currently listed for Frond. Before placing a project order, send us your panel thickness and construction so we can confirm the fixing requirements with you.
Does the mounting plate need to be recessed?
That depends on the cabinet construction and the clearance behind the front. We have not published a verified recess depth or minimum reveal for Frond. Have your cabinetmaker check a physical pull against the door or drawer before deciding whether a recess is needed.
Should I choose Large or Small?
Large is listed at 4.5 inches overall with 3.75-inch mounting centers. Small is listed at 2.8 inches overall with 1.5-inch mounting centers. Compare both the visual scale and the mounting position on your cabinetry; the overall length is not the distance between screw holes.
Can I use it on doors as well as drawers?
Frond is offered for cabinet doors, drawers and furniture. For a different mounting orientation or a pair of adjacent fronts, check how the pulls meet and whether both fronts can open freely. A physical sample is the most useful way to confirm the arrangement with your installer.
What does Satin Brass with gloss lacquer look like?
The satin brass color is protected by a gloss lacquer, which gives the surface a brighter reflection than a matte coating. Use the finish-sample link beside Finish to compare it with your other fixtures. A finish chip shows color and sheen; a full pull also lets you judge the shape and grip.
How should I care for the finish?
Use a soft, damp cloth and dry the pull afterward. Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads and metal polish on the lacquered finish.
Which knobs coordinate with Frond?
The Frequently Paired section follows your selected finish where a matching option is available. For Large Satin Brass with gloss lacquer, it offers Dumas and Stout knobs in that finish. Compare samples before matching hardware from different collections or with another manufacturer's brass.
How should I prepare a whole-room order?
List the size, finish and quantity needed for each cabinet front. Frond is sold individually. Use the selected item's availability beside Add to cart, and contact us to confirm quantity and dispatch timing for a larger project. Check a physical pull with your installer before committing to drilling.
